ZOAR Company of Dead Sea natural products was established in 1996. It is specializes in producing natural cosmetic products which components are extracted from the Dead Sea. These products help in curing dermatological problems and our best products are the salts and the mud of the Dead Sea, scented soap, different cosmetic products for hair, skin, face, body, and special products for feet. ~~ What inspired you to launch your own website? We believe that our unique products should be available world wide. When did you launch your first website, and what was it? 1996, amd it was http://www.seaoflife.com How did you decide on a name for your website? The website was named after the city of “Zoar” which is mentioned in the Holy Bible (the Genesis19: 1-29). It is the city to which Prophet Lot had fled when God sent down a rain of fire and sulphur on the city of Sodom and Gamora. God ordered Prophet Lot to take his wife and his two daughters to a remote mountain so they would not die. Prophet Lot prayed to God not to destroy the city of Zoar. God responded to his request and blessed the city of Zoar. According to the geographical studies Zoar is a land located in the East bank of the Dead Sea in the region of Moab at the borders of “Nabataea”. It is a Kingdom and Petra is its capital. What makes your website different from other, similar offerings? Easy to navigate, provides all the needed information in proper way. What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?) To introduce our products to a wide range of customers. If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site? No of course If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand? sure What has been your biggest challenge? Inreduce our Dead Sea and the benfits of its products. What method has been most successful for promoting your website? Word of mouth How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity? 4 years, by updating and renewing the website design and its material follow the customers needs year after year.
