The lodi news site posted a rather quaint and, in my opinion, unique article about 10 fun things to do on July 4th, Independence Day.~~

The ideas were geared towards families who want to do something different besides the traditional have a picnic and watch fireworks at the park routine.

Some of my favorites were idea number three, a recipe for a refreshing soda, and idea number seven, a visit to the local aviary, full of lorikeets (whatever those are, but they sound cute).

Articles like these are great for families who live in small towns or rural areas and want a few ideas to liven up their daily routine.
