Almost 2 years ago, www.purenaturaliving.com~~ How did you decide on a name for your website? Simple, Pure & Natural What makes your website different from other, similar offerings? My soap is handcrafted, I use only Natural and Organic Ingredients, It is hand wrapped in fabric reproduced from an antique 19th century quilt and when I purchase this fabric, the proceeds are donated to Gilda's Club. What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?) keep for income How does your investment of time and money balance against your success? still new at this If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site? I would have a professional design it If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand? It may be tricky at first but I could manage and it is a problem I would like to have. What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with? marketing is by far the most expensive What has been your biggest challenge? selling my wonderful soap What method has been most successful for promoting your website? I used pay per click at one time but it became too costly and did not give a good ROI How has running your website differed from your expectations? It takes time and a large budget (for marketing) How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity? this is my second year, my soap is new so I will continue to promote it because I believe it is a good product and the giving back concept makes it a perfect product for me to sell. How do people feel about purchasing a product that is not only good for them but helps someone else? I should like to think that people feel good knowing the products they buy are healthy and pure and as an added bonus help others, hence, good for the skin and good for the soul...
