I am a wedding photographer in Mississauga, Ontario with very affordable rates. ~~ What inspired you to launch your own website? I needed to get my name out there and have a way for clients to contact me. When did you launch your first website, and what was it? I launched in Jan of 08 with many revisions since then. How did you decide on a name for your website? Just used my own name! What makes your website different from other, similar offerings? I'm affordable. In today's economic climate, I'm looking out for my client's best interests. What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?) LONG term goals would be to sell the business in bask in the after-glory. How does your investment of time and money balance against your success? So far it's been pretty good. If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site? I wouldn't really change my site, but I'd change the equipment. If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand? Absolutely! What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with? Unexpected headaches during the implementation of the galleries! What has been your biggest challenge? Getting the galleries up and running, which still needs work! What method has been most successful for promoting your website? Google webmaster tools and SEO. How has running your website differed from your expectations? It hasn't really. How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
